I use Keeptive on Windows 11 to keep a remote desktop alive. I'm remoting in to another Win11 system. This is about what happens on the local system, running Keeptive. The remote system doesn't run Keeptive.
You can see the remote is the target, as well as all other settings I'm using. The system is set to lock if left untouched for 5 minutes. I'd think any mouse or keyboard action on the local system anywhere on screen would still prevent that, but if I leave it alone for that time, it will lock. The remote system does not, meaning it is getting the keys. I found the explanations a little confusing, especially for passive mode, so it's possible I'm configuring it incorrectly.
Is there a set of activation settings that will keep the local system from timeout locking? Could this be a bug because the target window is remote?
