v1.2.1:
If a black background cannot be inserted behind tissue, but the specimen is important, then I envisioned the measurement must be made with herbarium paper + glue background, and make a paper target measurement and score appropriate metadata. Current text for step 3-no: "If black background cannot be inserted; skip to next specimen — unless important; then go to #4." Proposed text for step 3-no: "Skip to next specimen — unless important; then measure on herbarium paper background (glue present?) and go to step 4. Consult a curator if considering alterations to specimen."

By post-treatment, you mean filtering of data that have paper backgrounds?
I think that this is unavoidable that some files like this will be
generated, and the metadata is set up to handle it.
