Is it possible to build this project under mingw(msys2)

Hi, this is a great project.

For me, I'm using the msys2/mingw64 gcc under Windows, so is it possible to build this project under GCC? the wx library can be install by the pacman command.

Another issue is I see there is a git log message said: remove the boost dependency, but I see in the github homepage, it is still mention the boost library.

We're using this as part of a larger project that we are working on. We've only been building it on Windows so far, and will look into building it on other platforms within the coming months. It is build though without any Windows specifics, so shouldn't be to much work to make it run on msys2/mingw64.
To see if it works, I just built wxWebMap on my WSL2 Ubuntu 20.04. It built successfully, but currently fails when I try to run it. I ran it with gdb and it seems it has to do with character encoding.

I'll keep this issue as a bug report and look into this.

Thanks for the reply. Once this project will be built under msys2/mingw64, I will try it. I don't use msvc++ currently.
