What's a "POSIX-compliant template"?

This looks interesting! I've never heard of a "POSIX-compliant template", though; perhaps you could explain what that is in the documentation?

I honestly tried my best to explain what it does in the README. I would love to answer your questions if you have any after you go along with the examples I gave in the README. I think that would be the best way of understanding what a "template-creator" is.

Thanks for getting back to me! I read through the README earlier, and I understand I think what a template creator is. I don't understand what it means for it to be POSIX-compliant; as far as I know, there is no POSIX standard for templates.

No I don't think there is such thing. The script itself is conforming to the POSIX standard, however. You can check for yourself using shellcheck. I could've easily written the whole thing in bash however I wished to challenge myself a bit.

Ah, then I think it's just a misunderstanding on my part. Putting "POSIX-compliant" in the title of the README is perhaps confusing. Perhaps you could change it to:

# Text Template Creator

`create-template`, or `ct` for short, is a text template creator written in POSIX shell.
