Updates to immigration policy and processes require an assessment of the script process and functionality.
One of the primary issues to review is the requirement to run SAVE on all immigration documents.
From AGK:
According to CM 31.30.01 "Only run SAVE when all the following have been met: [...] The reported immigration status and provided immigration documentation support that they would be eligible for benefits." This person's reported immigration status and immigration documentation does not support that they would be eligible for benefits. Checking with HP.immigration if SAVE should be run and will CC you.
Response from HP IMIG:
Yep, it would be correct to not run a SAVE in this instance since the reported status and document show she won’t be eligible for the requested benefits. She is correctly coded as 24 adjusted from 24 on STAT/IMIG and since she hasn’t met the 5-year bar and is not age 50 or older she is ineligible for SNAP.
There may be other instances of changes to requirements or process.
