Should these be size_t vs int64_t?

It seems like the issues with #11 passing tests have to do with a mismatch between size_t and int64_t on some platforms.

They can't be size_t because size_t is unsigned and offset is directional (you can seek by negative bytes)

I think that @VictorStepanov should probably make the locals in his test int64_t's instead of size_t via a cast.
