Rails app too slow

I am genereting all new products with happy_seed base install, very slow, someting looding time is over than 6 sec. How to debug this? How to speed up? How to scale high traffic app? That is a problem!

Ok. It is fast on production env. But in development too slow. I am boring on slow dev env.
