Adding ProtoArch

Try to design and implement arches using CSGCombiner.

Supposed features:

• Length
• Curve (corner’s curvature)
• Fill (fill upper corners or follow the arch’s curve)

Hi @HLCaptain, how is the ProtoArch effort going? I'm probably going to need this soon, so if you've got a working example and no time to work on it I could try to push it forward. Let me know!

Hi @farfalk I started implementing it in the linked 10-adding-protoarch branch, but does not have the time right now to work on it. I plan to pick up where I left off during summer.

I would like some kind of functionality to:

• change the arch radius with red gizmo
• change external pillar width with green gizmo
• change internal pillar width with blue gizmo
• change internal roof width with purple gizmo
• change external roof width with yellow gizmo
• widen-make taller the arch overall with burgundy gizmo

Features I did not draw in paint:

• gizmo for changing depth of the arch (can be like in ProtoStairs)
• gizmo for changing external corner arch

On the picture on the right, notice how the blue and green gizmos are displaced, because I would like to place them in the middle of their respective faces (blue's face is shorter due to the arch, thus it being lower in the middle).

This is a rough sketch of my ideas, so feel free to use it as a base to iterate on.

Is this still an ongoing effort? Any help needed?

Currently no unfortunately. Still have to find a time to properly think about developer workflows and how to best implement it. On second taught, I would like to make useful meshes for prototyping and looking at my sketch, I probably have to modify my original plans with ProtoArch.
