a friend recently wanted to use passy on their school laptop (after liking it very much on their private laptop and mobile phone).
now the laptop is a locked down windows 11, where they do not have administrator permissions, and can only install a very limited set of apps via the Microsoft store.
obviously passy is not among these.
the policy however also enforced that they cannot run the passy installer for windows.
luckily, there's also a standalone (zip) package of passy, that doesn't require any installation.
unfortunately it doesn't work: after starting the start screen pops up, and passy's "loading indicator" (the horizontal line) keeps progressing ("spinning"? "indicating"?) forever.
after a couple of minutes, we gave up.
any ideas on what goes wrong (or how we could debug this)?
