Review Unused Dependencies

Problem

Package vulnerability churn rate is getting so high that once we finish up a feature and merge to dev, there are always new vulnerabilities to resolve, slowing down release timelines.

Goal

To reduce the effort needed to constantly keep up with package vulnerabilities, we want to reduce our dependency on external packages.

• Look into automated tooling for package dependancy scanning on useless packages
• Look at each dependency and decide whether or not it needs to stay in CTRL or not

Hopeful Resolution

Less dev time spent on upgrading packages.
