<h2>Total Alignment</h2>
<p>At Gargoyle, results are paramount. To achieve the best results, we strive to ensure we are aligned with you at every step in the process.</p>
<p>To do this, we take three important steps:</p>
<h4>1. Results-based Pricing </h4>
<p>Unlike other firms, we don't like charging by the hour. Simple butt-in-chair time doesn't always get the job done.</p>
<p>Instead, we prefer to be paid for real results.</p>
<p>Thus, we'll work with you either on a <strong>deliverables </strong>basis or a <strong>business results </strong>basis.
For example, let's say we are replacing a pen & paper inventory management system.
</p>
<p>If pricing by deliverables, we could charge a total fee of $100,000, where we release a new version every month for four months and collect $25,000 on each new release.</p>
<p>If pricing by business results, we may charge 30% of the labor savings by moving to digital, plus a small kick-off fee of $20,000.</p>
<p>In the latter case, we are incented to achieve the best possible results for you.</p>
<h4>2. Stand-in</h4>
<p>To make sure that our team understands your needs perfectly, we'll grant you an account manager whose chief responsibility is to serve as a stand-in stakeholder for all discussions relevant to your project. </p>
<p>In essence, The account manager's job is to be stern with our team so you don't have to.</p>
<h4>3. Regular Communication</h4>
<p>To keep in sync during the process, you can expect an updated app in your hand every week along with a phone call from your account manager to discuss the state of the project. </p>
<p>We encourage the practice of active testing in the field. Since we track all app crashes and bugs remotely, we'll be able to diagnose problems you discover in no time.</p>
<p>Also, if you hold internal design meetings, we'd be happy to attend them.</p>
