I wanted to change my bank with *99# ussd upi payments, but I could not set up new bank details on flx1 after multiple tries. Then I moved sim to purism librem 5 and on first try it was completed successfully.
I think its because Librem 5 can stay in 2G mode until transaction is completed whereas FLX1 always come out of 2G soon.
*99# first menu after welcome screen takes some time to appear, but on flx1 it never appears. on librem 5, it comes up after a while.
I tried entering the expected value (bank name) and sometimes it brings next screen to enter card details, but never goes to next step.
librem 5 completed all steps successfully. I think providing a 2G only mode in setting to manually force 2G could help here.
Fortunately other screens like dialing 991*3# directly works fine. So after doing initial setup on librem 5, I can move sim back to flx1 and use it for scan and pay.
