Hi,
I am trying to get particles evenly spaced along a membrane in my tomogram.
I have generated the segmentation using MembrainSeg and am able to open it in ArtiaX along with its corresponding tomogram. I can also convert the segmentation via 'Volume to Geomodel' (vol2geo). However, this then generates a geomodel which is labelled as an arbitrary model instead of a surface.
I am then generating particles along this geomodel and would like to orient them to all point away from the membrane. However, this reorientation functionality only exists if the geomodel is labelled as a surface and not if it is an arbitrary model.
Is there any way to convert the type of geomodel? Or maybe there is a workaround to still give me the desired result?
Thanks for your help
