No sound effects while in menu

I don't get any sound effects in the menu for a couple of builds now. Beeps like selecting a menu option, the screeching tires when you start a race, selecting a track, selecting a car, there are no sounds and no voice description from tracks or cars. I always hear the music though.

Randomly I can "bring it back" by opening the debug menu and checking/unchecking some of the checkboxes, but it's random and I can't reproduce it. Once the sounds are back they randomly disappear again completely.

Is there anything that could cause this? Thanks.

Here is a build with verbose audio debugging.

Alternatively get branch audio-debug and build with flag:
zig build -Daudio-debug=true
After experiencing the bug, upload the file roller-audio-debug.log that it generates.

Thank you. The moment I unchecked the "Hardware rendering" button in the debug menu I saw this line in the output and instantly heard sound again:
