How do I get my api key?

I'm trying to find my api key on codeium.com but cannot. Where should I look?

I see the following error trace. This is upon M-x codeium-install. The binary seems to be downloaded correctly, but I think its trying to authenticate after that, and that doesn't work. I'm in doom emacs.

I am not seeing an error, but also I am not asked for an api token / key...

Sadly, I had to use neovim, running :Codeium Auth as outlined here and extracted the API key from ~/.codeium/config.json and added it to my init file with (setq codeium/metadata/api_key "...").

That seems to have worked for me, but it would be way cooler if the install/auth Just Worked in Emacs. I found the api-key at ~/.cache/nvim/codeium/config.json

I reinstalled Codeium on Emacs 29 and actually got the prompt to get the access token. Choosing manual correctly copied the URL to the system clipboard, and I was able to get my access token. I pasted it in Emacs at the prompt, but then I get the error about Error running timer ‘codeium-defer-until-no-input’: (void-function json-serialize). Codeium seems to be running because I can run M-x codeium-diagnose, but there's nothing in the status bar and it doesn't offer any completions.
