This is a regression introduced on 1.5.8. The issue doesnt exist on 1.5.7

I had problems on 1.5.7 when setting up since the pair client button wouldn't light up when starting duo up

Yes thats because of a bug introduced after a windows update that 1.5.8 corrected. However it also introduced this new issue with steam.

Can confirm that V1.5.8 has this issue.
Both clients can start Steam, but apparently the other doesn't have an valid authenticated token.
Tested with my main profile and the instance profile in Baldurs Gate 3. When the client starts the game, it doesn't authenticate to the game. When it connects to the game, the name of the user is "Debug_Client_Profile_1" (In BG3).

When tested with Meccha Chameleon, it shows this error: "Failed due to invalid or missing authentication token for user (e.g. not logged in)"
