Duo's Application Compatibility Layer causes Valorant (and probably other Riot games) to fail to launch

hi! installing Duo's Application Compatibility Layer causes Valorant, League of Legends and probably other Riot games to fail to launch, either with a 0xc0000142 error:

or "something unusual has happened" error (i don't have a screenshot, so here's screenshot from internet, pretty much the same):

got the same thing on both my main pc and laptop, both running Windows 11 25H2 26200.8457 and Duo v1.5.7.
uninstalling Duo's Application Compatibility Layer helps and games start working again.
those games are the only ones i encountered broken after installing compatibility layer.
hope it'll get fixed :)
