First of all, love the addition of new emojis. I've been trying to get this on Swype for many years!
I have everything working, installed new languages... it's great.
However, one issue I have is the added symbols line on the keyboard.
There are two photos.
Photo 1 Swype blacked edition - I have highlighted my issue in yellow.
Photo 2 Swype unmodified edition - The original unmodified swype + dragon latest version.
Please note this is only an issue for the English keyboard.
The issue is not present in Spanish, French, German or other Qwerty layouts.
It is an issue for me, because the new symbol line takes up a lot of space. Plus, most of those symbols are already present on the keyboard at the same time.
Solutions I've tried:

I have tried rebuilding the app with everything the same, but replacing ENubUN_xt9_ALM3.ldb.mp3 with original.

I have tried replacing the english.htm and ENubUN_xt9_ALM3.ldb.mp3 files after apk is already built.

I tried using a different Qwerty language (eg. Italian), but with the ENubUN_xt9_ALM3.ldb.mp3 file under the italian name.
But the app still somehow recognises the english keyboard and adds the symbol line.

I'm currently trying to learn the whole process so that I could perhaps just add updated emojis to the original swype! But there's a lot to learn!
I would looooove some help! If is there is some way you could remove that symbol layer... or just add updated emoji support to the unmodified app... that would be amazing!!!
