Add license to our project

Currently our project has no license.
We should eventually determine a license under which we allow others to use our project.

I think MIT will be fine. Do you have other ideas.

I think the popular licenses for open-source projects are basically GPL and MIT. I am fine with either of those.

I would prefer GPL due to the copyleft.
However, I would also be fine with MIT.
