Do you plan to add ARM platform support for glommio?

Ok, understood. I’m interested, what is the main obstacle to add such support? There are powerful ARM chips have been already shipped to many data centers and cloud providers and on these machines you just can’t run glommio

Do you have more details as to why ? There shouldn't be a lot of x86 specific code, if at all, in the tree.

I tried run glommio on ARM machine and got error: can’t take probe and that my kernel has witnessed Romulus killing Remus, but kernel version is 6.8, not too old :)

humm, okay. We'd have to investigate why it fails. io_uring is not x86-specific, I don't think there should be any fundamental issues there.

fwiw I am cross compiling and running glommio on armv7 just fine.
