Update and Enhance Testing Suite

We need to update our testing suite and add support for ES testing. We also need to clean up all existing tests to work with the new code structure.

Once the testing suite is complete we will need to tie it into the build pipeline.

Let's discuss this more since I'd like to come up with a coherent/consistent test strategy that we can try to implement across the project. I think this is of particular importance for our TA1/3 integrations. Let's discuss more tomorrow and come up with something notional and scope it out effort-wise.
