Thanks for doing this fundraiser, this project is motivating & super interesting!
Reviewing the code, I've noticed since 2018 Oracles on AWS / backend servers are now down.
Is there a way we could work together to relaunch this for a project - @flowstake?
Willing to fund the hosting for the AWS servers / domains.
- Smart Contract - Running on Ethereum / Polygon
- Strava Oracle - Bridge between the Blockchain and the outside world.
2.a. Scoring proxy atop the Strava API. ( smart contract compatibility )
Oracle - AWS Lambda serverless function - directly consumes the Strava API - exposes its proxied results via AWS API Gateway. So that the smart contract only gets very simple results as input for the challenge status. ( Ongoing, Accomplished, Failed )
The proxy also checks for the actual conditions required for the challenge to be accomplished: distance, timing & location.
