Linux ARM64 (aarch64) build — testers wanted

Thanks for the request! A Linux ARM64 (aarch64) build of CrossPaste is now available for testing.

Full transparency: none of the maintainers own an ARM Linux device. The build and packaging are verified (the packages contain genuine aarch64 binaries and the apt metadata is arch-aware), but we cannot confirm the app actually works at runtime on ARM — clipboard monitoring, global shortcuts, active-window detection and OCR all depend on native X11/JNA calls that can only be validated on real hardware.

If you genuinely need an ARM64 Linux build, please help us verify it. Without community testing we can't ship it with confidence.

Warning

These are unsigned beta builds. Do not use the in-app auto-updater for them. The beta pre-release is rolling and may be replaced by newer builds.

Install

• deb: sudo apt install ./crosspaste_2.1.5-2360_arm64.deb
• AppImage: chmod +x crosspaste-2.1.5-2360-aarch64.AppImage && ./crosspaste-2.1.5-2360-aarch64.AppImage
• tarball: extract and run crosspaste-2.1.5/bin/crosspaste

Requirements

• ARM64 (aarch64) Linux
• An X11 session (clipboard support under pure Wayland is still in progress separately)

Please test and report

1. App launches and the tray icon appears
2. Clipboard capture — copy text / image / files and check they appear in history
3. Global shortcut — the paste-board hotkey opens the window
4. Active-window / paste target — pasting into the focused app works
5. OCR — text recognition on an image works
6. Cross-device sync and overall stability

When reporting, please include your distro + version, desktop environment, kernel (uname -a), and whether you're on X11 or Wayland. Thanks for helping make this happen!
