The current cable management consists of two holes just off centre of the top plate. This go directly down on top of the battery. On the plus side, this allows the cables to go wherever they need to however it tends to make the base layer messy, and it interferes with the lidar.
The best solution for the base layer would be to route the cables down the sides of the servos as which would avoid obstructing the lidars, however we would need to be specific about cable lengths to avoid them getting caught in the wheels. The only storage for excess cables is under the battery. We would also need to have some covers to keep the top plate clean.
