Refactor ES2015 and later

[MicrobeTrace](https://github.com/cdcgov/microbetrace) is surprisingly close to compatibility with old browsers. One major blocker is the Arrow function syntax employed by TidyTree (and [patristic](https://github.com/CDCgov/patristic/)).
