is it possible to make this node keep its setting?

is it possible to make this node keep its setting so when image is dropped back on the stage it already has the info set from the meta in the image.
it happens with when i use bigger models like qwen and my input is huge and i use this node to downsize settings, if i go to rerun the image it defaults back to the image input, not the setting i modified

Let me make sure I understand your issue correctly. Are you experiencing the following?

1. You have auto_detect enabled on the Resolution Master node.
2. You manually modify/downsize the output dimensions (for example, by dragging the handles on the canvas or using sliders).
3. You run the workflow and save the generated image (which contains your custom downsized settings in the embedded workflow metadata).
4. When you later drag & drop that generated image back onto the ComfyUI canvas (stage) to restore the workflow, the node initially loads your custom settings, but immediately recalculates and defaults back to the huge input image dimensions, overwriting your saved custom settings.

If I understood you correctly, please let me know and I will see if I can implement a fix for this!

okay checked and yup, exactly as you described
i had auto detect on, and clicked the preset for 1024 x 1024 when i was making the image, because the image was way to big
-- if it easy fix, cool -- at least it is working as intended (i did have the autodetect on)
-- hmm an idea -- if a custom preset is chosen > then > the node turns off autodetect
easier to start fresh and turn back on or off, then come back and forget to reset because autodetect was left on

• otherwise, it first node i add to stock workflow : ) love it

I've fixed this in the latest update.

On load, the node now compares the detected image dimensions with the autoDetectWidth and autoDetectHeight values saved in the workflow. If they match, it skips the recalculation and keeps your manually configured settings instead.

As for disabling auto_detect when a custom preset is selected, I'd rather not do that. Many users expect auto_detect to stay enabled so it continues working with future images in their templates. I think the dimension check on load is a cleaner and more reliable solution.

Please update the custom node to the latest version and let me know if it fixes the issue on your end.
