Summary:
This issue proposes two equally important enhancements for the ARIS project: 1) Include detailed information about ArDrive Turbo in the project documentation, and 2) Integrate ArDrive Turbo as a built-in method for handling uploads, if the project incorporates upload functionality.
Background:
ARIS currently references EverPay in its documentation. However, the potential inclusion of ArDrive Turbo, a method allowing credit card payments for Arweave transactions, has not been addressed.
Problem Statement:
Lack of information about ArDrive Turbo limits user accessibility, especially for those preferring or restricted to credit card payments. Moreover, if ARIS includes upload functionality, not offering Turbo as an inherent option could lead to a less streamlined and versatile user experience.
Proposed Solution:
- Update the ARIS documentation to include a detailed section on ArDrive Turbo, explaining its benefits and transaction process. This addition should be on par with the existing EverPay information.
- If ARIS evolves to handle uploads directly, integrate ArDrive Turbo as a standard upload option. The integration should leverage the simplicity and ease of use of Turbo, including its ability to provide instant payment URLs using the createCheckoutSession method. This feature is crucial in preventing transaction failures due to underfunded wallets.
Benefits:
Incorporating ArDrive Turbo both in the documentation and as a functional part of ARIS (if applicable) will significantly enhance the platform's accessibility and user experience. It will cater to a broader audience by offering a flexible payment option and ensuring a smoother transaction process.
Request for Feedback:
Feedback, insights, or further discussions on this proposal are highly appreciated. I am particularly interested in perspectives on implementing and balancing these enhancements within ARIS's development roadmap.
