Electron has a lot of performance bottlenecks which worsens the UX for developers using Titan to operate in codebases versioned with SVN.
The idea is that Titan will be migrated to use Wails as the GUI framework with the core backend logic being written in Go. The frontend will be written with Svelte and TailwindCSS.
