External Texture support

Request: Add support for loading external textures to override existing ones (allowing for hand drawn replacements or upscaling) similar to the Blakestone project BSTONE

Thank you for your suggestion.
At this moment I'm working towards a version 1.0.0, including some features such as support for DOS saved games and compatibility with the Catacomb 3-D Big Box. I don't have plans to have external texture support in version 1.0.0, but I will leave this feature request open, because there might be an opportunity after this milestone.
