Whether it can support custom textures that match terrain IDs depends on the fact that some mods, like Terralith, can cause missing textures when used at the same time.

After demolishing a village, the corresponding textures on the map don't change, so I think a feature could be added to make up for that. Similarly, this feature could fix some texture missing issues caused by terrain mods. Or, players could completely 'hand-draw' the map themselves.
