Outdated code base? #29

Description

@YALdysse

Hi, @AltronMaxX .

I’m currently playing your fork, and I’m encountering bugs that weren’t present in the reVC commit a16fcd8 dated 2 September 2021.

I have serious grounds to believe that an old codebase, dating back to before 2 September 2021, is being used as the foundation.

The bugs in question are as follows:

  • Police officers can shoot through the tyres of my car from the other side. I definitely didn’t experience this in a16fcd8. Also, car tyres are sometimes shot out when firing at the car’s bodywork.
  • During Rampage missions, gangs appear very reluctantly. This is particularly noticeable in this fork. Even adjusting the pedestrian density in the game menu doesn’t help. Yes, in the original repository, this problem was not nearly as pronounced.
  • Often, when you get into the car, the horn sounds automatically and keeps going.

Which commit is your fork based on?

This repository contains a copy of the reVC repository and some author-specific commits.

Please update the fork to the latest commit made by the GTA modding team.
After the project was closed, one of the developers, Sergeanur, made a few more contributions.
Here is a link to his latest commit (9e6795a), which was made on 22 September 2021.

I have serious grounds for requesting an update to the codebase. Thank you.
