In the README file, you mentioned that you might like to port the swimming mechanics from SA to VC.
I’ve found a repository where the author has implemented these mechanics for re3.
I decided to share this find with you, as I think you’ll find it interesting.

I managed to build this fork and test how the swimming feature works. At the moment, the falling animation is being used. Despite this, the swimming feature is, in my opinion, implemented quite well.
I’d like to ask you one thing: if you decide to implement this feature in your fork, please make it optional and disabled by default. That way, users who need this feature can enable it in the game settings, just like the free camera.
I don’t think swimming should be enabled by default, as it will negatively affect the gameplay. Those who need it can enable swimming in the settings.
