If you activate the paste stack after selecting some text, it will get be copied to the stack, you have to activate the stack first, and then copy the item. Also when the stack gets empty it does not auto-close. I understand that this can be treated as a feature instead of a bug, but the original Paste app works without this 'feature' and its behavior is much more convenient.
