Sane Break doesn't autostart on the system start

Hey there,

Thanks for the awesome project.
I enabled autostart inside settings under "General", but when I click it it gives an error:

Setting autostart failed

No such interface “org.freedesktop.portal.Background” on object at path /org/freedesktop/portal/desktop

Though the option remains checked.

System Info:

• Pop!Os 24.04 Beta
• Cosmis/Wayland
• Sane Break v0.9.4 install though Cosmis Store (flatpack).

Looks like Cosmic desktop does not provide the functionality to add autostart from Flatpak applications (pop-os/xdg-desktop-portal-cosmic#49). I think there's nothing we can do at the application side. The workaround is to add the following io.github.AllanChain.sane-break.desktop file in your autostart directory (usually ~/.config/autostart):

X-XDP-Autostart=io.github.AllanChain.sane-break
Exec=flatpak run --command=sane-break io.github.AllanChain.sane-break
X-Flatpak=io.github.AllanChain.sane-break

Not sure if this is related or a separate issue, but I noticed autostart was no longer working for me but now I get the following error if I try to disable auto-start (I thought maybe I could toggle it off and back on to see if that fixed the issue):

Setting autostart failed

Invalid token: io/github/AllanChain/SaneBreak/5040

The setting remains checked, but when I try to close the Preferences window I get a prompt asking if I want to save or discard my changes—so it looks like something goes wrong in-between flagging the form as dirty and actually updating the values.

Manually creating a file in .config/autostart makes no difference.

Version information:

$ flatpak list | grep "Sane Break"                                                              
Sane Break      io.github.AllanChain.sane-break 0.10.2  stable  system

Hi, @Rumperuu! Since you have mentioned that "manually creating a file in .config/autostart makes no difference", it's more likely that your system has some problems autostarting programs. You can try adding other applications in .config/autostart or run command flatpak run --command=sane-break io.github.AllanChain.sane-break manually from the terminal and see what happens.

Please create a new issue with more details if you still think this is a Sane Break problem.
