Missing aw-tauri binary in linux pre-release.

Thanks for the report! aw-tauri hasn't had a formal release yet, which is why there's no linux binary available.

I've opened ActivityWatch/aw-tauri#219 to add artifact uploads to the build workflow — once merged, every master push will produce downloadable AppImage and .deb packages directly from GitHub Actions (no tag required).

In the meantime, you can build from source following the instructions in the aw-tauri README.

But yeah, AppImage is missing it seems.

Quick correction: Erik pointed out that the .zip releases do include linux binaries (activitywatch-tauri-v0.14.0b1-linux-x86_64.zip and -aarch64.zip) — I was wrong about no linux binary. The AppImage is indeed missing though.

Good news: ActivityWatch/aw-tauri#219 (ci: upload build artifacts) was merged a few hours after my comment. Future master pushes will now produce AppImage and .deb packages via GitHub Actions, which should resolve this once the next release is cut.

Done — opened #1301 to add the same fix to this bundle repo. The AppImages are already built by make package (via aw-tauri's package target) but were buried inside the zip instead of being exposed as standalone artifacts. The PR adds a Linux-specific step mirroring the existing macOS dmg step.

Right, sorry for the confusion. Opened #1302 to add the missing piece on the bundle side.

Root cause: aw-tauri's Tauri bundler already produces .AppImage/.deb/.rpm for Linux, but build-tauri.yml here only uploads dist/activitywatch-*.*, so those bundle outputs were silently dropped from artifacts and drafted releases (only the .zip made it through). The PR adds a Linux-only step that copies the Tauri bundler outputs to the versioned/arch-suffixed filenames the upload glob expects, so the next master push will produce activitywatch-tauri-*-linux-x86_64.AppImage (and .deb/.rpm) alongside the .zip.
