Xcode 16.2.0 question

Why is Xcode 16.2.0 required if Ableton live 12.4 is backwards compatible to Big Sur? I'm mainly curious if this is a hard requirement or if just how Ableton/link was tested.

Compiled quick and clean on Xcode 14.2 . All tests in the 4 test suites pass. I'm waiting for the gotcha. If anyone can comment it would be awesome, don't want to sink time into this just to hit a blocker in a month.
