BOLT12 Incompatibility with Ocean.xyz pool payouts

Context

I am unable to set up automated Lightning payouts on the Ocean.xyz mining pool using a BOLT12 Offer generated by Phoenix Wallet (v2.7.5).

Steps to Reproduce

1. Generate a static/reusable BOLT12 Offer in Phoenix.
2. Edit the description to match Ocean's requirement: OCEAN Payouts for [BTC_ADDRESS].
3. Paste the lno1... string into the Ocean configuration dashboard.

Expected Behavior

The BOLT12 Offer should be accepted by the pool's dashboard to proceed with the signature process.

Actual Behavior

The Ocean dashboard returns the error: "error decoding lightning_bolt12".

Technical Notes

• The procedure works correctly when using a BOLT12 Offer from Coinos.io, which suggests a formatting or metadata incompatibility specific to Phoenix (possibly related to blinded paths or
  TLV records).
• This issue prevents Phoenix users from receiving direct, non-custodial mining payouts from Ocean.

The Ocean documentation (https://ocean.xyz/docs/lightning) mentions they have compatibility issues with some services since March 2026.

In that doc they also specifically mention that Phoenix is not compatible with Ocean payouts. Since they say "support is planned for the near future", maybe they are working on something.

In any case, Phoenix Bolt12 offers should be compatible with the BOLT specifications. If you have details about this decoding error, we would be happy to investigate, but I suspect the error comes from internal requirements specific to Ocean.
